How Little Oasis Spa Always Stays Sanitized

My entire life I’ve been laughed at for being considered “overly OCD.”

Not anymore.

Hello. I wanted out to let you know for your peace of mind: We’ve ALWAYS sterilized, disinfected, and sanitized everything above and beyond…including door knobs, light switches, pens, and all touched surfaces.

From day one, we went above and beyond what is normally done. Here’s our core protocol:

  1. Invested $5,000+ in a Surgical Grade Autoclave machine that 100% sanitizes all implements by sterilizing to 275 degrees within a sealed chamber! And when the sterilization process is finished, the door opens up, and the implements are sealed in an airtight pouch. The pouch is only unsealed for your treatment, and your treatment only.
  2. Our steamers have a built in UV light that sterilizes our pure steam distilled water.
  3. Our hot towels cabinets utilize UV sanitation technology that destroys bacteria and viruses on contact.
  4. We use a MERV-13 furnace filter designed to filer out bacteria, molds, dust, pollen, and viruses.
  5.  We have always cleaned our air by infusing 100% highest grade Eucalyptus Oil into the air while running an air purifier throughout the day. The highest grade eucalyptus not only smells good, but is documented in scientific studies to reduce and kill airborne bacteria and viruses when diffused into the air.
  6. We are fortunate to have a facility that has windows that allow fresh air to recirculate constantly — and a front entrance that also recirculates fresh air throughout the day.
  7. We have always operated by appointment only and have limited clients per day to focus on our results driven practice.
  8. We’ve always disinfected all door knobs, handles, checkout area, Square pen, and any other objects that may get touched. We do this every time in contact with a client.
  9. All estheticians thoroughly wash hands in the room prior to beginning your treatment.
  10. You and all of our amazing clients have always been mindful to call in if feeling a cold or sickness of any kind…so we can reschedule at a safe time.

It was reinvigorating to step back, look at what we’ve always done, and realize the protocol we have always used, far exceeds the board standards.

With that said, to support Governor Hogan’s efforts, we did close on March 14th. And we’ve remained closed until getting the official go ahead to reopen on June 20th. Actually, the official Phase 2 reopening starts June 19th at 5pm.

The last three months has been a difficult time. Being forced to close is one thing. Yet, not being able to see the clients you’ve grown to love and serve is another.

We’re focused on enhancing any little aspect of what we can do to help all of our clients enjoy the healthiest skin and body — and doing this in the safest and most relaxing environment.

We’re so thankful for many clients reaching out and wanting to come in for their appointments, and schedule new ones.

I guess after only a few days of being locked in to our little spaces, we’re all looking to get out at least into a safe space out of our homes…Well, I know I am!!

We are super excited to reopen again.

And we will continue to keep our enhanced protocols for your and everyone’s benefit. The same protocols we’ve always used, with a few additional measures.

So for everyone’s added peace of mind, we want to follow some simple added measures for your visit:

  1. Guest will need to wash hands upon arrival, prior to entering treatment room.
  2. All staff and guests will have a one-second temperature check when arriving. We’ll record this for everyone’s safety.
  3. Estheticians, per usual, will wash their hands again once immediately before the treatment.
  4. Estheticians will use a surgical face mask and put on new Nitrile powder-free exam medical exam gloves (offering protection with a soft touch).
  5. Door knobs, light switches, pens, and all surfaces are disinfected between every client.
  6. Any clients on recent international travel we ask to schedule for 2-weeks out.
  7. Any client who feels sick, per usual, please wait to reschedule.
  8. We have NEW digital consultation forms for skin treatments and massage treatments. So you don’t have to fill out any forms on the day of your treatment.

So I hope feel, as we do, that Little Oasis Spa’s facility is a very safe environment.

I guess my personal OCD has its benefits 🙂

So, I wanted to give you reassurance and let you know know we are here to continue serve you at the highest level.

I hope that you having more clarity on how we’ve always operated provides great peace of mind when you come to visit.

It’s really reinvigorating to know we have a place where you can come and help your skin and your overall health — and especially now your sanity!

We absolutely love what we do, and that’s because of great people like you.

We will always give our very best to you for your best health.

Look forward to seeing you soon. As always, you can Book Instantly Online.

And please know, if your appointments had to be canceled because of the mandated closing, we will work extra hard to accommodate you and getting you in as quickly as possible upon reopening.

Take care.
