All our implements are treated with EPA-registered hospital grade disinfectant. Although State Board of Maryland only requires disinfectant for salons and spas, for added measure, we use autoclave technology. Autoclave is a sterilization method used by doctors, dentists, and surgeon. Your Health Is Important To Us. If implements are not first properly cleaned, the disinfectant solution may be deactivated and/or blocked by soap, films, dirt, grease, or oil.
Your health matters. We sanitize, disinfect, and sterilize. We strongly advise clients to ask whether a salon/spa they go to uses autoclave prior to scheduling any services. Many clients ask if the UV cabinet is sufficient. It’s not. UV is a form of sanitization. It simply keeps cleanse implements clean. There’s a clear difference between sanitization, disinfection, and sterilization. It only takes one time to get a serious infection. We won’t take that risk on ourselves. So we wouldn’t take the risk on you.
